Privacy notice
Effective date: October 20, 2026
What we collect: your email (required to join the waitlist) and anything else you choose to add: name, phone, ZIP, area (San Diego or Hawaiʻi), vehicle, the service you're interested in, and your questions.
Why we use it:
- To email you when a slot opens.
- To answer your questions and talk through what your car needs when we reach out, and to reply to messages you send through our contact form.
- To plan which services and areas to offer first, using your ZIP, area, vehicle and interest.
- To send the occasional car-care tip, only if you checked that box. Unsubscribe anytime.
What we don't do: we don't sell your information or use it for advertising, and this site has no advertising or tracking pixels.
How long we keep it: Until you ask us to delete it, or once we no longer need it for the waitlist.
Do Not Track: This site doesn't track you across other sites, so it doesn't change behavior based on browser Do Not Track signals.
Where it's stored and who handles it: Your information is stored with our website host (Netlify) and, when you sign up, emailed to Scott through our email provider (Resend) and kept in our business email (Google Workspace). These providers handle it only to run the waitlist for us. We don't share your information with anyone else.
Your choices: unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to see or delete your information, using our contact form (choose “Privacy/data request”), or by sending us a direct message on Instagram at @alohadetailcenter. You can also unsubscribe using the link in any email we send. California residents may have additional rights under California law.
