I'm the founder of Aloha Detail Center and an IDA Certified Detailer, Skills Validated (CD-SV). I started this business for one reason: car care done honestly, and done right every time.

A standard from day one

Keeping my vehicles clean was instilled in me the day I got my driver's permit, and it never left. Dirty truck? No keys. A clean car became the standard I held myself to, and it still is.

As I got older, I was very fortunate to be able to hire detailers to do the work. That's when I saw the same pattern, over and over. The first job was good. The second was okay. After that, things started getting missed, the attention to detail that impressed me in the beginning faded, and complacency set in. It happened with every detailer.

Great once isn't good enough

Good once wasn't enough. I wanted great every single time. So instead of settling, I set out to learn how to detail properly myself.

Trained the right way

I trained under an IDA Hall of Famer, one of the most respected names in professional detailing. From there I earned my IDA Certified Detailer (CD) certification from the International Detailing Association, then took it a step further with CD-SV (Skills Validated), the IDA's in-person, hands-on assessment of real detailing work: wash and prep, interiors, paint correction and finishing. The whole process took weeks of hands-on training and classroom work.

That's the standard every car gets from me: the same care and the same eye for detail on every visit as on the first.
